Position: Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Manager, WWF-Laos.
Location: Vientiane office with 50% travel to provinces and occasionally to neighboring countries.

The M&E Manager reports to the Conservation Director and is responsible for the effective development and management of WWF-Laos’ M&E systems in accordance with the current WWF-Laos Five Year Strategy Plan (2021 - 2025) and ensuring data to support M&E functions is stored and maintained for easy access. The M&E Manager ensures the effective delivery of all relevant M&E products, from project and programme levels to the Country Office and Network level. M&E Manager provides M&E support to both the Conservation and Operation (e.g. finance, admin, HR, Communications, etc.) teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Project Managers in developing and updating the project M&E plans and implementing indicators, conducting baseline, targeting, measurements, and evaluation to ensure the alignment of WWF's country strategic outcomes and WWF networks' guidance across the different projects.
- Development of data collection tools including adopting digital tools (such as KOBO, ODK, etc), providing training to project teams for the data collection methods, and ensuring timely support for project teams on data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Working closely with the Project teams to reflect the conservation impact on the ground and produce real-time data visualization and sharing back the analyzed data for the teams and all stakeholders to capture the lessons learnt for future improvement and tracking programme progress.
- Working with both the conservation and operation teams for timely updates and maintaining WWF's internal data management systems and other mandates including risk management, knowledge management and Network Performance Overview to ensure data quality assurance, integrity, and compliance.
Required Qualifications:
- At least 3-5 years of practical experience in monitoring and evaluation.
- Experience in designing and/or information management systems for conservation and/or development projects.
- Experience and knowledge in Kobo toolbox or ODK development, and training.
- Experience and knowledge in data dashboard development, and presentation (Power BI and GIS are preferred).
- Excellent command of written and spoken Lao and English languages
Additional Preferred Skills:
- Experience in writing reports and reviews, organizational, and presentation skills (including training, mentoring and facilitation skills).
- Experience working in conservations or relevant fields.
- Proven ability to work under minimum supervision and ability to work under time pressure and meet deadlines, and ability to work in diversified environments.
WWF-Laos can offer you a one-year contract duration with a possible extension. Please note the compensation package will be aligned with local salary and benefits conditions, in line with our reward policy.
